    Congratulations. I’m sure my two girls looked as squishy as that. I wish I’d had a seasonal hat to put on each of them. A word to the wise though: try as you may to avoid it, there *will* be a pink/purple sparkly phase. Deep breath and grit your teeth. It’s something that all girls go though!

    She is so wonderfully precious!

    I have to say that I’m glad that those hats (the little striped knit one) are so universal in hospitals around the States. It just gave me an instant feeling of camaraderie, even though I am no longer in the Boston area.
