Happy New Year!

I’m glad to be done with 2010 – it was a difficult year for many of us, and I think we’re all looking forward to a fresh start, a brand new year of life, happiness, and craftiness, of course :).

Even more than 2009, my 2010 was dominated by baby knits, all for little ones born during this past year:

And it seems that 2011 won’t be any different: I already have five little recipients destined to make their arrival this year! Fortunately, I’m on top of the situation. I finally finished the Sunny Spread Blanket for one of them (just wait, it’s a beauty!), and started the Betty Lou Lace Cardigan from Kristen Rengren’s Vintage Baby Knits for another. Pictures to come ;).

What’s more, I’m expecting my own little babe this year, too! I’m almost 16 weeks along, and the little boy or girl (we find out the sex at the end of January) should be arriving around June 20th. I’ve been feeling very well (knock on wood), and we are of course extremely excited ;).

Happy New Year, friends! May this be the best year yet!
